A selection of software titles that have been updated during the last months.

HippoPlayer

In February 2023, HippoPlayer was updated to version 2.56.

AWeb APL Lite with (then) latest AmiSSL

Also in February, version 3.5.091 of web browser "AWeb" was recompiled with the (then) latest (compare below) version of AmiSSL for improved https support.

AmiBlitz

Programming language "AmiBlitz" (BlitzBasic) was updated to version 3.9.9, fixing a number of bugs, and adding a couple of features.

P96

In March, RTG system "P96" - formerly known as "Picasso 96" - version 3.3.3 was released.

MNT ZZ9000 firmware

Also in March, firmware version 1.13 was released for the mighty ZZ9000 multi-function Zorro card.

Still in March, Elbox released version 13.14 of pci.library for their Mediator PCI expansion boards.

Prelude software bundle, and AmigaAMP

In May 2023, Thomas Wenzel released a new version of his software bundle for the Prelude sound card, and fixed a number of bugs in AmigaAMP, which is now at version 3.34.

AmiSSL

Also in May, version 5.9 of secure-socket-layer implementation "AmiSSL" was released.

Great christmas gifts for Amiga users of all kinds! WinUAE, IBrowse, and AmigaAMP have received (sometimes substantial) updates.

WinUAE 4.10.0

WinUAE is the king of Amiga emulation. You can read about all the details on WinUAE's homepage, but here's the big one in this latest release: 100% cycle accuracy! Oh wow, this is a blessing not just for hardcore classic gamers and sceners, but for all Amiga software developers. Very good!

IBrowse 2.5.8

IBrowse developer team, again, proves its dedication to Amiga webbrowsing: this latest version contains all hotfixes since the previous one, and adds a round of new bugfixes and improvements, such as re-enabled Gemini protocol support and better stability.

AmigaAMP 3.33

WinUAE 4.0.1 is out

Famous Amiga emulator WinUAE has been updated to version 4.0.1, as always fixing numerous bugs, and adding new features.

The most advanced and best known Amiga emulator just got another update. No huge changes, mostly bugfixes, and some new features like adding emulation of the QuikPak 4060 accelerator board.

The "Win" in "WinUAE" of course stands for "Windows", but did you know WinUAE is also probably the best Amiga emulator for Linux? Yes, you can install "wine" on your Linux machine to run Windows applications, and WinUAE will work nicely with it.

Cloanto releases Amiga Forever 7

New features include the ability to autostart the PC into any Amiga configuration, enhanced PowerPC emulation support, custom content folders and playlists, and a "playerless" title playback, preview and editing experience.

As always, "Amiga Forever" probably is the most complete Amiga emulation distribution: includes official Amiga ROMs and operating system, latest versions of WinUAE and WinFellow, applications, games, demos, videos, one-click player interface, ... (depending on "Amiga Forever" version/edition)
